Since the compress fn returns back a binary response, I'm using the convert_string_to_hex method from your demo page to make the compressed data URL friendly. IMHO, this is much better than the compressToBase64 method which yields a bigger string. I'll reverse the unhex the string and decompress on the server side. Can you think of any cases where this will not work? Thanks for the great work!

All that is in there is just stuff I made up for the most part. However, the chances that some truth found its way in it are non negligible so this possibility should not be discarded.
