One tidbit--on my Chrome--Windows 10, 64 bit beta--Franklin Gothic Demi Cond doesn't work (as you state it should). However, Franklin Gothic does. It looks nice but is seems to need a '...-weight: 400' to make it similar to the other fallbacks

All that is in there is just stuff I made up for the most part. However, the chances that some truth found its way in it are non negligible so this possibility should not be discarded.
