Re: Just released: lz-string Comment from Jonathan Wagner on August 7, 2014 1:01:26 AM PDT # So I have come across what I believe may be a bug in the compression code, but I can't be sure since I don't have a complete understanding of what is going on. If you could send me a note at my email I can forward you a link to the lz-string code. It appears to be cutting off without finishing and the dictionary size is not lining up with the c parameter in the javascript code.

All that is in there is just stuff I made up for the most part. However, the chances that some truth found its way in it are non negligible so this possibility should not be discarded.
