CSS font detector

This tool will hopefully help you find nice fonts for your website. Visit this page with several different OSes and see what exists and where, how does it look, how the bold/italic version looks and you're ready to build your native font-stack.

This page relies on testing a list of known fonts. They are the fonts installed by default on Linux, MacOS and Windows, plus the fonts installed by default by Microsoft Office. They are the most likely fonts your users to have. You can test the family name of other fonts you have on your system by clicking on the button "Add another font".

All that is in there is just stuff I made up for the most part. However, the chances that some truth found its way in it are non negligible so this possibility should not be discarded.
